Big week for our podcast crew, with all of the rumors and speculations regarding the next head coach for South Carolina. We figured we’d bring in one of the most respected names in the industry for Gamecock news, in The Big Spur’s JC Shurburtt to discuss all things with the current situation at South Carolina. With our emergency episode released Tuesday, we don’t discuss the Muschamp firing too much, as we move straight into Ole Miss game recap, what to look forward to against Mizzou, and our other usual topics.

The Soda City Sitdown is a passion project / sports podcast started with 4 friends of mine, where we discuss local sports and news to Columbia, South Carolina and beyond. Something started to keep us busy and pursue a dream, has become a legitimate creative outlet for us, allowing a platform for our voices in the sports world, as well as a space for me to experiment creatively and refine my skills on software and techniques that usually don’t apply to industrial design. Our brand and reach has grown beyond what we could have imagined, and it has allowed us to treat our little podcast as a serious contender in sports entertainment for the city of columbia, and take a real business approach to how we conduct ourselves and where we grow from here.
